ORNA: A Little Dream, Rooted in Legacy
Dear Friend,
There are homes that look beautiful. And then there are homes that feel like they belong to you.
ORNA was born from a simple belief: the things we bring into our homes should be more than just décor. They should have a story, reflect who we are, and stay with us for years.
For me, that connection began as a child, decorating our home with my father every festive season. What started as a small love for beautiful things and traditional craft stayed with me and eventually became ORNA.
Over 14 years of working in the development sector and travelling through India's villages, I found myself drawn to the extraordinary skill of artisans who continue to create by hand, using techniques passed down through generations.
I kept returning to one thought: how could these beautiful traditions find a place in the homes of today?
One afternoon, a carved wooden jharokha from Rajasthan stood beside an old brass artefact. The two seemed destined to belong together.
That moment sparked ORNA.
Today, ORNA is my way of carrying these stories forward through pieces that can be part of your everyday spaces, celebrations, and the memories you create around them.
